Proven Municipal Leadership

Thorold Hydro Electric Commission (1997-2000)

Henry won his first electoral victory at age 31, becoming a member of the Thorold Hydro Electric Commission. As Transition Steering Committee Chair, he helped guide the transition to the current hydro service provider.

The transition resulted in the sale of $17.1 million worth of Thorold Hydro assets, now held by the City for the benefit of all citizens.

City Council (2000 - 2003 and 2022 - 2026)

Henry expanded his municipal experience through committees focused on local revitalization, housing, culture, and sports in Thorold.
